I coach everyday people on hitting their protein and calorie goals without giving up the food they love — and I eat at Qdoba more than I'd admit. In 2026 I got tired of doing burrito math at the counter, so I built the calculator I always wished existed and I personally check every number on this site.
How this whole thing started
Hi, I'm Maya. I coach people on eating for their goals without quitting the food they actually enjoy — and for me, that food is very often a Qdoba bowl. Extra grilled chicken, light rice, an unreasonable amount of fajita veggies. The catch was that I could never get a straight answer on what that custom bowl added up to.
Qdoba publishes nutrition info, but it's split out ingredient by ingredient, and there's no easy way to stack a full meal and see the totals. So I'd stand in line doing math on my phone, second-guessing myself, holding up the people behind me. Eventually I gave up guessing and built a spreadsheet for myself and a few coaching clients. They loved it. Their friends wanted it too.
So in 2026 I turned that spreadsheet into this site. I'll be honest — we're brand new and just getting started. There's no big company behind this, just me keeping the database current, writing guides that answer real questions, and reading every message that comes in. If it saves you time at the counter, that's the whole point. Stick around and watch it grow.
What you'll find here
A live, build-as-you-go calculator
Pick your base, protein, rice, beans, salsas, and sauces — calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and sodium update the second you tap. No reloads, no signup.
Every ingredient, not just combos
We track each topping and sauce on its own, so you can see the cost of that extra scoop of queso before you commit to it.
It runs in your browser
Your meal picks never leave your device. No account, no tracking what you eat, no inbox full of "we miss you" emails.
Works wherever you are
Built phone-first for the order line, but just as comfortable on a laptop while you plan the week's meal prep.
Three things worth knowing before you track a Qdoba order
A little context from coaching real people — so the numbers help you instead of stressing you out:
- Hand-scooped means real-world wiggle room. Two "regular" rice scoops can differ a fair bit. Treat our totals as a reliable reference, not a lab measurement — expect roughly 5–10% swing in real life.
- The big swings come from a few ingredients. Queso, guac, sour cream, and the rice you choose move your totals far more than which salsa you grab. If you're trimming calories, start there.
- Protein is where Qdoba quietly shines. A bowl built around grilled chicken or steak with beans can land a genuinely high-protein meal — handy if you're tracking macros, not just calories.
How we keep the numbers honest
People make real food decisions based on what they read here, so accuracy isn't a nice-to-have — it's the whole point. Every figure on this site is sourced, cross-checked, and reviewed before it goes live.
The two sources we lean on
Qdoba's official nutrition information
We pull directly from the official Qdoba Nutrition & Allergen Guide to catch menu changes, seasonal items, and recipe updates. The database is reviewed regularly and again whenever Qdoba announces a change.
USDA FoodData Central
For ingredient-level sanity checks, we cross-reference against USDA FoodData Central to confirm baseline macro and micronutrient profiles line up.
Our guides carry a "last reviewed" date so you always know how current the info is. If a number ever looks off, tell me — reader corrections genuinely make this better, and I'll always own up and fix it.
What we stand for
Accuracy over guesswork
If I'm not confident in a number, I'd rather flag it than publish it. Data goes live only after it's checked against a primary source.
Free, and staying that way
No paywall, ever. Clear nutrition info shouldn't depend on your budget.
Useful over noisy
I don't chase clickbait. Every guide exists because a real person asked a real question, answered with real data.
Your privacy, respected
No account required, no selling your data, and nothing about your meals leaves your browser.
A quick but important note
This site is for informational purposes only. The nutrition data here is based on Qdoba's published ingredient information and is meant to help you make informed choices — not to replace medical or dietary advice. Actual values can vary with portion size, preparation, and what's available at your local restaurant. If you're managing a health condition, allergy, or specific dietary need, please check with a registered dietitian or healthcare provider before making decisions based on this tool.
